Tailoring PRINCE2

Introduction

Because the seventh principle of the method requires that it should be tailored to the project’s environment, PRINCE2® cannot be applied properly without some consideration of tailoring.

In this section, tailoring is discussed in terms of:

• Factors in the external project environment that affect the application of PRINCE2
• Project-related factors that affect the application of PRINCE2
• How the application of PRINCE2 can be adapted in response to these various factors
