General
OPQ stands for Occupational Personality Questionnaire.
It was developed in England.
It can be thought of as too complex producing 30 work behaviour scales from 248 questions.
Many behaviours tend to fall into about 5 major areas.
Some factors derived may be hard to validate in terms of job performance, for example, tough-minded and modest.
The results of the OPQ are designed to give an employer an idea of the personality of a potential new worker.
It may lend itself better to personal insight as opposed to selection for future job performance.
